Melisa Aldrete and Luis Cárdenas founded Popdots in 2012 to express the memorability of traditional materials in a contemporary context. The studio seeks to strengthen the creative process and the concept, developing unique series that grow in mastery with practice, an understanding of ceramics, and a continuous dialogue between the material, the maker and the environment.
